Products and Descriptions

Cators sells sterling silverware, gifts, accessories and related products, including silver photo frames, bookmarks, money clips, decanter labels, barware and personalised items.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, prices, images and availability information are accurate. Where products are described as sterling silver, they are made from .925 sterling silver unless otherwise stated. Some products may include non-silver components, such as glass, fittings, backing materials, packaging, ribbons, magnets or inserts.

Hallmarking

Where required by UK hallmarking law, qualifying sterling silver items supplied by Cators will be hallmarked by a recognised UK Assay Office or otherwise legally compliant.

Some silver items may be exempt from hallmarking due to their weight, construction or the applicable hallmarking rules. Hallmark placement may vary by product and may not always be visible in product photographs.

Personalisation and Engraving

Where engraving or personalisation is offered, the customer is responsible for ensuring that all names, initials, dates, text, logos, artwork and instructions are accurate before submitting an order.

We reserve the right to refuse engraving or personalisation requests that we consider unlawful, offensive, misleading, infringing, defamatory or otherwise unsuitable.

Personalised, engraved, bespoke or made-to-order items may not be eligible for cancellation, return or refund unless faulty, damaged or not as described.
